मिलते हैं पर मिलके बात नहीं करते
करते हैं तो दिल से बात नहीं करते
पहले वक़्त नहीं था बच्चों की खातिर
वक़्त मिला अब बच्चे बात नहीं करते
ख़ुद से ही बतियाता रहता है अक्सर
उसके अपने उससे बात नहीं करते
उसने कितनी बातें की थीं अपनों से
अब कहता है अपने बात नहीं करते
पैसा पैसा पैसा करने वाले सुन
इंसानों से पैसे बात नहीं करते

I listened to this poem at Guru Purnima Function held at Rajasthan Bhawan. This as well as other poems including the one on Amma brought tears in the eyes of audience. Everyone was deeply touched. I was speechless. Regards.
